Conducted by the composer, the historic audio recording of the premiere from the Column Hall of the House of Unions was performed on Maundy Thursday in the lead-up to Easter, marking the culmination of the cultural events of 2026.
In his score, the composer draws on centuries of experience interpreting Gospel texts and the legacy of the Old Masters. Combining tradition with the profound psychological insights of his own signature style, Sergei Zheludkov creates a completely new sound, transforming the music into a genuine spiritual statement.
